Another Possibly Dumb Question

This might be a dumb question, but . . .

When taking your Christmas cards to the post office, as I did a few days ago, does it matter whether you cram them into the piddly "Out Of Town" slot or leave them in the mailbox outside the office? I'd like to think they'll arrive more promptly in the building, but I bet it doesn't matter at all.

It does not matter :)
All you are doing is making the Postal Workers actually work for their paycheck!

Sometimes I put a rubber band around my stack of cards. I don't like when the mailbox is filled to the gills and the letters don't drop down to the bottom. I worry that the mail carrier won't reach up to grab all the letters that are stuck.
