Restaurant Review: Glory Days

For dinner tonight, LC and I visited the newly-opened Glory Days Grill, part of a regional chain. (I'm feeling better, thank you for asking.)

It's a sports-themed restaurant with the usual mishmash of memorabila on the wall. Notable: an orange Reggie Jackson jersey from his one and only season with the Orioles, and a poster for an NWA wrasslin' card at some high school featuring Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka against Hercules in a steel cage. There's also the usual few dozen TV sets, many in HDTV, and one showing SpongeBob SquarePants; all it was missing was NTN trivia. This is obviously not the place for intimate conversation! We watched the end of the not-too-interesting Rose Bowl with USC winning handily over Michigan.

The food was very good. I had ribs that were better done than most places, but not dried out, and LC had roast chicken that was also quite juicy. We also had scrumptious Caesar salads.

The service could have been a little more prompt, but we've definitely had worse. And the price was about what I'd expect. We'd definitely go again!
